Anti ageing prevention Plan

It is never too soon to start your anti ageing plan, if you wait until you get your first pension book you will be playing catch-up with a long way to go. There are three things to do that are the basis for your anti-ageing plan.

*The first thing to consider is to give up smoking as this not only ages the skin but has many other health problems associated with it.

*Second is to cut down on your drinking, don’t give it up as it has a beneficial effect on the body. A glass of red wine or a bottle of beer per day provides many good things to the body.

*Thirdly, up your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables, these are full of really beneficial antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals that will look after your skin from the inside, as well as being really good for the body.
With these 3 in place you are ready to work on your skin. To keep your neck looking younger, you need to apply a cream, thicker than your normal face cream, using firm upward strokes taking care not to drag your skin. This needs to be done on a daily basis. Also, when applying your face cream don’t forget to massage your acupoints.

Always protect your hands with an SPF hand cream and make sure you hydrate them at least once a week with a special overnight treatment. People often overlook their décolletage, (the skin between your neck and boobs) which is often exposed to the sun without our realising it so use a good quality body moisturiser every day and when wearing something with a low neckline use a sun screen. The same applies to your face; remember sun ages the skin as well as giving it a tanned look.

Incorporate MSM (methlylsulfonylmethane) into your diet as it can boost your keratin levels which are great for your cell walls, hair and nails. For those of you approaching the menopause, a diet rich in soya and other pulses may help to prevent many of the side effects associated with it as they are rich in phytoestrogen which counters the loss of oestrogen. The herb black cohosh is known to have a phytoestrogenic effect.

Water is very important to keep the body hydrated 8 glasses a day is recommended on top of any coffee or tea you may drink.

The next thing may sound yukky but it is a great beauty tip. Get a small tub of natural yoghurt and allow it to go mouldy. Use this to make a face mask and leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water, repeat three times a week. The mould in the yoghurt contains beneficial nutrients that are better than botox.

Another good beauty secret is to keep your eye cream cold by leaving it in the refrigerator; it helps to sooth tired eyes and banishes unsightly lines. It should be applied at least half an hour before you put your make up on the morning.

Instead of normal tea, try green tea which is full of very beneficial antioxidants which are important in fighting free radicals in the body.

If you are already past the first flush of youth you may wish to consider taking HGH (human growth hormone) enhancers. These are produced by the body when we are young, but production reduces as we get older. HGH not only puts these important amino acids back into the body but they also stimulate natural production. Amongst the improvements recorded are restoration of bone and muscle mass, improved skin texture and elasticity and improved energy levels.

Just as you work out to keep your body in shape, so you should do the same for the face. A lot of the problems associated with a droopy face is the fact that it has lost muscle mass. To counter this, do a five minute facial exercise every night before you go to bed, you can even do it whilst you watch television.

If you can keep to the above you should be able to be mistaken as your daughters older sister not your husbands mother.
